[SBE] Verizon says it will do away with traditional phone lines in7 years

in my AT&T town phones go out without storms for days at a time. I could 
expouse on dozens of instances to bore anyone, every time it rains, crosws 
connects to other houses, mysterious one ring calls at precisely the same time for 3 
years et al. land line sucks.  Having wireless phone all the way back to MTS 
IMTS days the radio always works. If not ham radio auto patch. If not, any of 
the radios in my vehicles and soon to be obsolete portable tv's. So there are 
lots of ways to keep in touch.
