[SBE] A Lighter Look for Saturday..

Hi all,

Thanks for a great "comic relief" from the SBE site negativism on DTV
lately and for quite some time before.

I have solved a bunch of M/W problems and taught M/W engineering in
the Signal Corps but this example is a first for me!

I finished setting up an HDTV system for my neighbors today (of
course for the Super Bowl) and I punched up HD Net on FIOS around 11
AM to "My Fair Lady" and I have to tell all on this group, the
pictures and sound were stunning. My neighbors were in tears - it
was that good.

I have been doing this for 10 years now and those old coots on this
group need to wake up.

My example here is FIOS but off air locally - the coverage is even
better than analog - the pix are outstanding and the sound is
outstanding. And I am looking out 50+ miles. And yes I built the
antenna on YouTube and it to works as advertized.

Those of use who don't get onboard are doomed to fast retirement.

I am 67 and learning every day!

I just finished installing a BSI radio automation/production system
in a local nationally known reform school and the rewards are
super! AND I did it gratis!

Several kids picked up live assist in 48 hours.

Case closed.
