[SBE] T-Mobile

I have friends whose T-Mobile service appears to work well in the DC/Balto
area.never been to Nashville. Where it does NOT work is anywhere west of the
Mississippi. Been with Verizon since before it was Verizon, back in the days
of the "bag phone" and the "brick phone". The service has been
great-available in lots of remote places like Yellowstone NP, Mammoth
Mountain and Amargosa Valley where no one else had service. I haven't had a
problem with rates going up other than when I added new necessities like
"endless data" and the ubiquitous text messaging to support my Smartphone.
My bills usually run 12-14 pages with no change in cost for the last 3
years.

iPhone can work on TMobile (if jailbroken), as it's GSM. Also works in
Europe...

FWIW.

Anyone have experience, good or bad, with TMobile in the Wash DC/Balto area,

Anyone have experience with their G1 or Gravity phones.

Any issues with TMobile pricing, plans, options, gotchas?

I am looking to get rid of the increasingly expensive Verizon and ATT
accounts, which appear to cost 2-3X more than TMobile.

Any thoughts?
