Eugene:

I am aware of many TV stations who use Nverzion software to run the
automation side of their stations. My first encounter was at the Pappas
station in Reno, NV. Having worked in Central (Master anywhere else)
Control at then KNXT now KCBS in Los Angeles, they would have a fit if
it were unmanned at anytime. When I saw they had NO ONE in their MC, I
was very surprised and James Ocon, the then CE there told me that they
never man their MC. With Harry (the boss) Pappas living and watching the
station, I would have been very shy to do something like that, but Ocon
said it worked and worked quite well. I've heard that same story from
others who have the Nverzion automation installed in their plants. I do
know that they will let you download a copy of their automation, run it
for a month to see how you like it. If you do and want to continue to
use it, you buy it, otherwise you uninstall it and go on your way. I
don't think you can beat that with a stick.
