[SBE] ENCO

Hi Jonathan, I've been using ENCO since 1995 (DOS) and I have to say it is the best system I have used to date. With the Gateway and Dropbox programs you can transfer almost any file throughout a large connected network. I currently have 6 updated workstations running on a main server with Gateway doing daily backups. ENCO has the best service, support, and they actually update the software with user requested features all the time. I've worked with some of the others, big and small, and most can do what you want but none have the ease of use and flexibility that ENCO offers. They also have a very nice support forum where other users can help you out with tricks and tips etc. I was quite surprised by the absolute lack of help you can get for free on some 'other' big name systems. They seem to want to hide things as simple as 'which driver do I need for this kind of audio card?', just got bitten by that one last month... had to go paid support call to get the info, $$$.

Good Morning Everyone!

With all the good folks on here, I imagine some of you have worked
with ENCO audio systems in the past (or present). I'm intereted in
knowing how you are working with them (file transfers, sharing, etc),
particularly if you are in invovled in a group of stations that
utilitze a central server.

I'm also interested in any thoughts on similar systems that you either
considered, choose or are using.

If you feel your reply is good for the list, please reply to all; if
it's not, I would appreciate the personal reply.

All thoughts are welcome.
Thank You!
JS
