Isn't there a terminal on the back of that unit to reset the alarm using a contact closure?

I don't know about a digital input silence sensor.

For an analog input silence sensor I use the BT Silence Monitor III Plus and, although the manual could be written a lot more clearly, it works pretty well. You can set the threshold and time to whatever you need to via internal switches. You can tie the alarms from it to a Remote Control System like an ARC-16 and use that to phone you.

Only annoyance I have with it is that unless someone is around to push a button, or unless you program something into your Remote Control unit to do it, you can't shut the alarm off once the issue is resolved. I wish they would put a switch in there that would automatically reset once audio is restored.

Does anyone have a recommended RELIABLE unit that will work with Audio Vault to detect an extended audio outage (ie 20 seconds) then send out a programmed text message or auto dial a list of numbers? It needs a threshold control (level) and an adjustable time period. Sometimes its digital silence, sometimes we have background static bepending on what source was supposed to be on air but didn't show up.
