Hi,
I was of the opinion that when the national airspace was closed, it hit the point of national
emergency. I would have thought at that point, even though the news media was covering
the event, a statement from the president would have been a good idea. With this in mind
however, I also know that we had never really experienced such an event before, and 9/11
really could serve as a learning platform for what needs to be done in the future.
Finally, I started this thread to learn more than what I knew...and this thread has certainly
done that. does anyone know where I can find a manual for station concerning EAS so I can
educate myself further?
Thanks,
Russ
