Bob Groome came through -- so I'm in great shape now -- thanks, everyone!

Subject: Anyone have a schematic/parts values/specs for the Gates STL
adapter for a TE-3 exciter (p/n 994-6672-001) ?

Hello everyone !

I'm restoring/refurbishing a Gates TE-3 exciter for use with suitable RF
filtering as a 10 watt translator transmitter.

In order to minimally change the characteristics of the originating station,
I'd like to put composite output from the tuner into the STL (composite)
input of the TE-3.

And I actually found a Gates TE-3 STL adapter -- the panel designed for use
as a composite input.

I think I remember how to put back some modifications someone made to it --
apparently to increase its sensitivity, as a resistor in the composite input
path is jumpered with a short copper wire.

In addition, there's a plastic cable clamp on the inner panel that appears
to be original, but there is no wire running through it, nor is it clear
what may have been there some time, years ago.

The STL adapter is not covered in the TE-3 manual -- as I recall it came
with its own several-page schematic and short instruction paragraph.

If anyone's got these few pages, I'd hugely appreciate receiving a scan of
the few pages. Then I can clear this project off my workbench and start on
the next broken thing awaiting my attention!

Many, many thanks !
