[SBE] Video question: Quicktime render is unusually LARGE

I'm not a full time video production guy, but the occasional job comes up.

I had a request from a client to take a 5 minute (20MB) Windows Media video clip and convert it to Quicktime.  Easy enough, I thought.

I was able to easily import it into Vegas 5 (my current platform), then "Render As" Quicktime.

A couple hours (!) later, it finishes, but the finished Quicktime file weighs in at 13GB!

What did I do wrong??
