You might also look at APTX (see link).  I've had great success and they seem to 
be pretty cost-effective.

guy and awesome dealer of broadcast gear (and especially hard-to-find stuff).

I have been asked to find a "Comrex" like system that would allow very flexible 
remote radio broadcasts from sporting events via pots/wireless/cellular and also 
have a wireless headset/mic feature so live interviews can take place on the 
field. This last part is where I lose most systems I have found.

I am not a "broadcast" guy anymore and have lost touch with what is out there 
now a days.
