[SBE] job opening - TV chief engineer

Wisconsin Public Television is looking for a chief engineer (CE) to perform imaginative, supervisory and technical work in Madison, Wisconsin.  The CE has responsibility for day-to-day operations of the Wisconsin Public Television production and remote facilities, including supervision of all engineering staff at the production center and the WHA-TV DTV transmitter. The CE manages the human, physical, financial and operational activities of the engineering department. Desirable to have significant: progressively responsible professional experience in television production engineering; ATSC broadcast transmission; and SBE Certification. Typically, work in broadcasting includes day, night, weekend and holiday hours.  The appointment requires a two-year probationary period.
