  This may be so ...However it does not explain why there are a LOT of AM's whose sole means of remote control is a dial-up phone line.  Nor does it explain how this works if the station is operating un-attended.   How do these systems know that their means of control is no longer available ?



  Have the rules changed or is this another situation where actual practice has moved faster than rule updates?
