That happens in FM too :-). One of the longest days of my life, could NOT get to studio nor transmitter site. ARRGGHH.

All I heard was last song fade out and then silence. With stereo pilot. No one answering phones in studio. Receptionist going to night ring in middle of day!!

And the Fire Dept had the nerve to keep me out of the parking lot when i finally got to the studio, and tells me "there is a fire in the radio station".

SSSHHHH**********TTTTTTTT

As it turns out, the fire was in the elevator room, but the smoke coming out the roof was also coming up through my pass throughs.

Now, one has to ask, how did smoke from the elevator room get into the electrical risers that are supposed to fire stopped?

You can thank a data cable contractor!!!!
