Before the Nationwide EAS Test Roundtable
Importance: High

Greetings,

Thank you to those who joined us last Friday for the virtual roundtable,
Prepared & Ready: Final Stretch Before the Nationwide EAS Test! Over 900
attendees viewed and participated in the event and we look forward to
continued engagement on the EAS. A special thank you to the participants
who provided excellent case study analysis and important prepratory
information before the Test. To ensure the information is available to
all, we have asked our roundtable representatives to start posting this
information and other best practices information on their organization's
website.

Materials Attached:

Fact Sheets, and FAQs for Public Awareness (developed in close
partnership with the EAS Community and through the lessons learned from
work in the field)

Please consider forwarding this email to those that would be interested.
Getting the information out before the Nationwide EAS Test on November
9th is truly a public service and we appreciate any and all support to
do so!

Some quick tips for PSA and information placement for broadcasters,
cable, and government departments:

* Communicate and share information with on-air staff and news
departments

* Inform applicable Regional, State, and local government
community relations departments

* Convert PSA Script text into a quick over-the-air news brief

* Convert PSA and Toolkit information into inserts for
subcribers

* Consider posting information on company, government, and
community websites

As always, do no hesitate to contact me at manuel.centeno1 at dhs.gov.

Many thanks and look for our next announcement soon on the Oct. 13th
final informational webinar before the Nationwide EAS Test.
