I have used a Grainger/Dayton replacement motor with good results but it's
been so long ago that I don't recall the specifics.

If it fits and the voltage, HP and RPM are the same, it should work fine.

Subject: [SBE] Continental 816R Blower Motor Replacement

I have a Continental 816R-2A with a bad blower motor. The original is a GE
5K33GN1A. Grainger gave me a Dayton replacement type of 6XH87. Has anyone
on the list used one of these and is it the correct replacement?

Thanks,
