[SBE] EAS CAP adaptors/converters

I believe that the new Part 11 sets sometime in 2013 as the deadline for the
use of converter boxes. As I recall, it's related to the ability to receive
and rebroadcast the text information.

Anyone know if there is any truth to there being a deadline for the use of
CAP adaptors/converters?  That there will be a day in the not too distant
future when only a single CAP enabled EAS unit will be allowed, no
adaptor/converters.
