As a few of you may know, I occasionally write for Radio World. I'm starting work on an article about studio and/or transmitter generator readiness, especially as it pertains to lessons learned from Hurricane Sandy.

I'm looking to talk to engineers whose stations were directly affected by Sandy and how they managed to stay on the air -- or didn't, particularly where backup power was concerned. I'd also like to hear about your setup, how you chose what you have, and maybe what you might do differently in the future.

Thanks in advance!

Curt
