Hello fellow broadcasters,

With all the excitement in much of the country about The World Series and
radio broadcasts, I thought many would enjoy this recent article in the
NYTimes about the power and reach of radio and the huge cultural role and
impact it's had on the country.

Live Radio broadcasts of Sports, rock n' roll, all kinds of music and
personalities, politics, religion, and on and on….It was a large part of
growing up for many of us.
