It's possible. The ABI keyboard only has three pins as opposed to the AT
standard 5, but I guess they could have used the conductors for clock, data
and Vcc and used the shield for GND. I'll have a look for an old AT keyboard
in the loft and give it a try. I never was too convinced about the
AT-PS2 converters - I thought they changed the wire protocol with PS2 so I
couldn't see how a passive adaptor could work?
