Hi Folks,

I've had some bounces lately and Pair Tech Support has figured it out:

---------(quote)-----------

The Yahoo IPs are getting in the headers and bounce messages due to
forwards. The headers you provided show this line:

X-Yahoo-Forwarded: From somebody at verizon.net To someboy at gmail.com

Verizon sub-contracts Yahoo to host their @verizon.net. It seems
that you havesomebody at verizon.net on your PairList mailing list, and the
user of that address has it set to forward to his Gmail address. Gmail is
rejecting the forward from the Yahoo server due to your DMARC setup and the
SPF record you have in place.

There is no way to force Gmail to accept the forwarded mail, and no
way to force Yahoo to do a better job forwarding mail.

The only real solution is to replace thesomebody at verizon.net
address on your PairList with that person's real e-mail address, which
appears to besomebody at gmail.com. Doing this would prevent it from being
forwarded through Yahoo services.

I suspect you will over time get similar bounces from others who
forward through Yahoo as well. In each case you would need to read through
the bounce message and see which address it was sent to (which will be the
address that is forwarding the mail), and which address is listed as the
address it bounced from (which is where the mail was being forwarded to),
then update your mailing list accordingly.

---------(end tech quote)----------

So, if you are forwarding emails then gmail has a surprise in store for you!
