COMPOSER'S VOICE SPECIAL GUITAR CONCERT FEATURING 15 MINUTES OF FAME WITH
KENJI HABA

June 26, 2011 (NEW YORK, NEW YORK) Vox Novus in collaboration with the
Remarkable Theater Brigade and Jan Hus Church is proud to present the
Composer's Voice chamber concert series Sunday, June 26, 2011 1:00 PM.

This concert will feature the new contemporary music initiative,
15-Minutes-of-Fame performed and specifically written for Kenji Haba,
guitar. The Eastern and Western cultural experiences influenced the musical
perception and direction of Japanese guitarist Kenji Haba. Haba has
performed throughout the United States and Japan. Haba has studied classical
guitar under renowned guitarists Kevin R. Gallagher and Oren Fader.

15-Minutes-of-Fame: Kenji Haba, guitar features one-minute compositions by:
Jay C. Batzner; Justin Breame; Douglas DaSilva; Joseph Eidson; Iman Habibi;
Stavros Hoplaros; Ashley John Long; Richard Pressley; John Thompson; Chris
Vaisvil; Salim Dada; Thomas Flippin; Dai Fujikura; Chia-Yu Hsu; Oswaldo
torres Ortiz

The Composer's Voice concert will also present the music of Joe Gianono, Kai
Watanabe, Tsuyoshii Furutsu, Roger Blanc, and Dennis Cinelli, performed by
The New York Guitar Trio, Suzanne Mueller, Roger Blanc, Tsuyoshi Furutsu,
Kai Watanabe, and Joe Gianono.

Guitarist/composer/arranger, Roger Blanc has worked with television (Tonight
Show, Saturday Night Live, David Letterman), film (Frida, Untouchables, Wag
The Dog, Fargo), recording with such notables as Barbra Streisand, Yoko Ono,
Michael Jackson, Paul Simon, and Bruce Springsteen.

Steve Bloom studied at the Jazz Program at LIU and received a BFA in Jazz
Studies, and studied with jazz greats: Bill Saxton, Benny Powell, Ronnie
Matthews, Cecil Bridgewater, etc., and Reggie Workman. Steve is currently in
the New York Guitar Trio and is a member of Vincent Chancey's Phat Chance
Trio, featuring French Horn, Guitar and Drums.

Dennis Cinelli is active as a soloist and chamber musician on guitars,
mandolins and lutes. He has performed with the American Symphony, The New
York Collegium, The New York City Opera, The New York City Ballet, The Bach
Aria Group, Artek, The American Virtuosi, Montclair State University Chamber
Orchestra.

Guitarist / singer-songwriter Tsuyoshi Furutsu arrived in New York after
winning the Mazda Urban Jazz Contest, and performing at The Parthenon Tama
Jazz Festival in Tokyo. Mr. Furutsu earned his master's degree at The City
College of New York.

Composer/Arranger/Orchestrator Joe Gianono's music can be heard on THE SOUP,
and CHELSEA LATELY. Joe has composed incidental music for the Off Broadway
productions of "Little Eyolf" by Henrik Ibsen, "Savannah Black & Blue",
Leslie Lee's "The Book Of Lambert" and Tennessee Williams' "Small Craft
Warnings", "In the Bar Of A Tokyo Hotel", "The Rose Tatoo", "Clothes For A
Summer Hotel" and is currently writing the score for "Suddenly Last Summer".

Sylwia Kloc is a classical guitarist from Poland. She is an active soloist,
chamber player, and teacher. Ms. Kloc received her Bachelor and Master
Degrees from Mannes College, where she studied with Frederic Hand.

Cellist Suzanne Mueller is a graduate of both the Pre-College and College of
The Juilliard School .She is a founding member of CROSS ISLAND, a
cello/piano/clarinet ensemble , and of the guitar/cello duo Mueller & Russo.

Composer's Voice Concert Series is an opportunity for contemporary composers
to express their musical aesthetic and personal "voice" created in their
compositions. Started in 2001, the "Composer's Voice" concert series has
presented over 60 concerts to date.
