Vox Novus is calling for one-minute pieces composed for Fifteen Minutes of
Fame: Wonki Lee, saxophone and Riko Higuma to be performed at the May 13,
2012 Composer's Voice concert in New York City. The one-minute duet pieces
are to be written specifically for this project, which will be performed by
Wonki Lee, saxophone and Riko Higuma, piano. All works must be 60 seconds or
less.

This call for works has a theme relating to the Romanian Composer Liana
Alexandra
(http://www.voxnovus.com/composer/Liana_Alexandra.htm)
The theme can be anything which relates to the music, spirit, and vision of
Liana Alexandra (or even just the title or dedication).

Pieces can be for Bb soprano saxophone, Eb alto saxophone, or Bb tenor
saxophone (and piano). Extended techniques for piano and saxophone are
welcome. "Hello Mr.Sax, or Parameters of The Saxophone" by Jean-Marie
