[Voxnovus] Two Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame coming up this weekend ! And a Tribute Composer's Voice concert to the composer Liana Alexandra

First on Friday May 11th at Fort Washington Collegiate Church in New York
City

Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame with Laura Jordan & Sarah Carrier, marimba & flute,
will be performing 15 one-minute works by 15 composers: Eric Scott
Alexander, Michael Bakrnchev, Jack Ballard, Jay C. Batzner, Matt Van Brink,
Dante DeSilva, Joel David Hickman, David Peoples, Richard Pressley, Scott
Radway, Alan Shockley, Matt Siffert, Alex Sramek, Constantine Theodosion,
Ruth Wiesenfeld.

Fifteen Minutes of Fame is a collection of 15 one-minute acoustic works
composed specifically for a specific performer or ensemble. The purpose of
Fifteen Minutes of Fame is to promote a great variety of contemporary music
to audiences hungry to hear what living composers are writing today. The
project series seeks one minute music composition from composers working in
any style and aesthetic.

Ching-Chu Hu, Wade Meyers, Jose Mora-Jimenez, Mike Perdue, Kala Pierson,
Serban Nichifor, Daniel Mihai, Joshua Ransom, Corina Alexandra Tirziman,
Georgiana Trandafir,

The 15 Works for Wonki Lee and Riko Higuma are dedicated to Liana Alexandra
in a tribute Composer's Voice concert for the Vox Novus composer.  The
Composer's Voice concert will also feature works from 
The late Liana Alexandra as well as Serban Nichifor, Nuha Dolby, and Robert
Voisey with performances by Jasmin Bey Cowin, Josh Henderson,, Midori
Witkoski, and dancer Kaoru Ikeda.
