[Voxnovus] CALLING ALL COMPOSERS FOR SCORES!

Wow!  What a year for our calls-for-scores, having already completed 6
different Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame since January!

Our most recent were: West Point Band, featuring a theme of "Service".  This
call is now in its judging round.  The selected 15 works (TBA) will be
premiered on September 11, 2016 at Trinity Church in New York City to
commemorate 15 years since the September 11, 2001 attacks. And Re-Imagining
Beethoven, Stephen Porter, piano, also now in its judging round!

Looking ahead, we have some BIG exciting opportunities for you.

The Sayat Nova Composition Competition is a unique opportunity with great
prizes:
1st Prize: 2.500 Euros, 2nd Prize: 1.500 Euros, 3rd Prize: 1.000 Euros In
addition to cash prizes, the top three winners will get their winning works
published by Composers Union of Armenia's Armusic Publishing House. The
first place winner of the Sayat Nova International Composition Competition
will receive two special awards: the Carnegie Hall Award and the Armenian
National Philharmonic Orchestra (ANPO) Award. The Carnegie Hall Award gives
the winning composer the honor of having his or her piece premiere at the
AGBU Performing Artists in Concert at the Weill Recital Hall in December
2017. As the recipient of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra's
(ANPO) Award, the first place winner will also be commissioned to write a
10-minute piece that will premiere by the ANPO during the 2017/18 season.

West Point Band: Celebrating 200 Years of The West Point Band
This call for scores is looking for works composed in celebration of the
West Point Band's 200th year to be premiered in December 2016.
All pieces are to be composed to celebrate the West Point Band's 200th
birthday in 2017.
The deadline for this call-for-scores is September 18, 2016.
