Rob Voisey composes electro-acoustic and chamber music. His aesthetic
oscillates from the Romantic to the Post Modern Mash-Up. His work has been
performed in venues throughout the world including Carnegie Hall, the World
Financial Center Winter Garden Atrium, and Stratford Circus in London.
Voisey has been profiled and his music broadcast on HEC-TV public
television in St Louis, Elektramusik in France, as well as radio stations
all around the world including Cityscape – NPR St. Louis Public Radio; Arts
& Answers & Art Waves on WKCR, Upbeat with Eva Radich on Radio New Zealand;
and Kol Yisrael, Israeli Radio.



Rob Voisey has curated Circuit Bridges, a program of electronic works that
premiered in the Chicago area and which is being presented around the
country. The program includes works by Voisey, Margaret Schedel, Jason
Bolte, Dennis Bathory-Kitsz, and others. Dr. Brown will give a special
preview performance of a new work for clarinet and tape.



Kathryn Brown received her Doctorate of Musical Arts in clarinet
performance at the University of South Carolina; she holds a Master of
Music from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Music from East
Carolina University. Dr. Brown has over fifteen years of entrepreneurial
experience as a freelance musician and private music teacher, performing
with numerous professional orchestras across the southeast and teaching
clarinet and piano lessons to young children, teens, and adults. Dr. Brown
is Lecturer in Entrepreneurial Studies in the Arts at NC State.
