Calls for Scores
Going into the summer we want to highlight the abundance of opportunites
that is being offered at Vox Novus. Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame has this year
already had 5 calls for one-minute works for melodica solo, bayan accordion
solo, guitar solo, guitar and flute duo, chamber trio. The project is
announcing 7 more calls for solo: soprano, cello, violin, harmonica,
saxophone and flute as well as for the CAMP new music group. AND we have 3
more in the works. It is more than 180 opportunites for a composer to get
their work performed.
It that wasn't enough, Composer's Voice already had one call for scores to
present longer works for baritone white Andrew White. A second call for
longer works is coming up for the marvelous viola duo Talla Rouge.
Of course with calls for scores comes performances. All of the calls above
will receive a performance online and/or on the Composer's Voice show aring
bi-weekly. But it is also generating performances all over including,
Lansing, Grand Rapids, Glendale, and New York. With even more performances
with dance!

Call for Scores
Vox Novus is calling for one-minute pieces composed for solo soprano
This is a unique call for Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame in that the call is for a
specific instrumentation where 4 different sopranos will be picking works.
That is 60 opportunities for composers to be selected!

Veterans of Vox Novus
Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame is proud to feature veterans from our past. This
call for arias features soprano Mary Hubbel who performed in a duo with
flute in the project's past.

This Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame is looking to strengthen and empower the
contemporary opera community by creating one minute arias to highlight the
soprano singer. Deadline for works is June 30th, 2024
