Two Sets of 15, an evening of music, movement, and contemporary
expression; a fusion of live piano and innovative dance, bringing together
a whirlwind of miniatures and theatrical vignettes across two dynamic
sets.  These one-minute musical works are choreographed and performed by
Charlotte Aucella, Cayla Blake, Louise Coleman, Hannah Franzen, Leann
Gioia, Margot Hartley, Tori Hey, Laurie Hockman, Rachael Kosch, Nicole Y.
McClam, Kevin Predmore, Casey Schwarz, David Stocchi, and Gabriel Zaragoza.

Composer's included in the first set of 15 are: Daniel Carpenter, David
Bohn, Amelia Kaplan, Michael Todd Kovell, Pablo A. Rago, Blair Whittington,
Anicia Kohler, Oleh Harkavyy, Ivan Moody, Edward Ruchalski, Sebastian
Zaczek, Josh Schmidt, Yehuda Yannay, Rainer Berger, and Melinda Faylor

Sandwiched between 2 sets of Fifteen-of-Minutes-of-Fame is the dance The
Fawn on the Lawn by choreographer / composer team Rachael and Michael
Kosch.  A theatrical dance inspired by the whimsical world of early
modernist painter Florine Stettheimer, The Fawn on the Lawn combines vivid
music, imaginative choreography, and elaborate costumes by Rachael Kosch,
performed by a talented cast of dancers: Cayla Blake, Hannah Franzen, Leann
Gioia, Izzy Hanson-Johnston, Margot Hartley, Riccardo Passera, and David
Stocchi

Included in the second set of Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame include composers:
José Jesús Martínez-Espuig, Satoru Ikeda, Juan Maria Solare, Volker Ignaz
Schmidt, Alp Durmaz, Ross James Carey, Leo Brauneiss, Jonah Vicente,
Carlotta Ferrari, Oscar Johnzén, Álvaro Bravo Martínez, Paul Smith, James
Bohn, Michael Kimber, and Enrico Francioni

Are you ready for a sonic adventure like no other? The Queens New Music
Festival 2025 returns to The Secret Theatre in Woodside from Thursday, May
15 through Sunday, May 18, filling the space with bold, boundary-pushing
contemporary music.

Now in its 14th year, the festival is presented by Random Access Music
under the artistic direction of Thomas Piercy. This year’s lineup features
eight concerts packed with world premieres, renowned ensembles, and
groundbreaking soloists, highlighting the work of 55 composers and 42
performers from across the new music spectrum.

Tickets are affordable and flexible—$20 general admission per concert or
just $10 for students. Want to catch it all? Grab a $60 festival pass for
full access to every performance. Tickets are available online or at the
venue.

🎼 Festival Schedule Highlights:May 15 – 8 PMThe Random Access Music
Ensemble opens the festival with works by Beata Moon, Masatora Goya,
Frances White, Allaen Schulz, and a world premiere by Seth Boustead.

May 16 – 8 PMVox Novus showcases emerging talent and cutting-edge premieres
with it's Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame project, celebrating its commitment to
new voices in composition this unique performance present 30 different
composers wiht 2 set of 15 miniatures performed by Yumi Suehiro.

May 172 PM: The Aaron Copland Guitar Ensemble performs a wide-ranging set
featuring works by Piazzolla, William Anderson, and more.
6 PM: Pianist Ju-Ping Song presents pieces by Christopher Cerrone, Molly
Joyce, and others.
8 PM: NakedEye Ensemble lights up the evening with music by Theresa Wong,
Jerome Kitzke, and a premiere by Neil Rolnick.

May 182 PM: Percussion powerhouse Mantra Percussion takes the stage.
4 PM: The genre-blending quartet Hypercube brings high-voltage music for
guitar, piano, saxophone, and percussion.
7 PM: RAM Ensemble returns with world premieres by Zhihua Hu, Gilbert
Galindo, Kevin Charoensri, Miho Sasaki, and Michael Schelle.
