First Annual South-American Conference on Interaction Design
Interaction'09 | South America

THE EVENT

The Interaction'09, which is in its fourth international edition
(http://interaction09.ixda.org), will take place in this first edition
for the South America, in São Paulo (Brazil), on 14-15 August 2009.

Interaction'09 | South America welcomes papers describing original
work, submitted only for this event, with conclusive results related
to the Interaction Design.

GOALS

The Interaction'09 | South America has as its main goals:

- To disseminate the scientific production of research groups from
academic institutions which are working with Interaction Design;
- To provide an opportunity for reflection about everyday questions
related to the
practice of Interaction Design;
- To increase the knowledge on issues related to the research fields of
post-graduate programs connected to the area of Interaction Design;
- To stimulate the scientific production on undergraduate and graduate
levels;
- To disseminate products developed following the interaction approach.

SUBMISSIONS

Papers can be written in English or Portuguese and cannot exceed
15 pages. Paper formatting must follow the guidelines presented in
http://www.interaction-southamerica.org/?page_id=20 . Submissions will
be accepted
in PDF format only through the site http://openconf.latitude14.com.br.

As papers will be blind-reviewed, they should not display any information
regarding their authorship in the header or body of the text. All
submissions will be evaluated by at least 3 members of the scientific
committee.

All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings
(on CD) and in a printed collection of selected papers to be
distributed commercially.
