Back when I was a student we used Assembla for one of the projects I ran. It was a useful website for managing the project we were working on and it offers free SVN and GIT.

Subject: Re: [game_edu] Suggestions for Free Unreal Source Control ?

Hi:

I am teaching a class on Game Engines and we are currently learning to use the Unreal GDK. It turns out that the GDK includes a feature to use Source Contro (you have to turn it on, but it's there)l, which would be really great to use. However, I need a free source control host to get this to work. Does anyone out there have any recommendations? As usual, there is no money and very little time, but it would be a really good experience- dealing with source control has been a big hole in our curriculum and this is a way to get it.

Thanks!
