In this webinar, presenters from St. Edward's University in Austin, TX 
will showcase their efforts to pilot a class in Global Social Problems, 
Local Action and Social Networks for Change. Presenters will discuss 
how they took a gameful approach to the design of their class, which was
 heavily influenced by the work of Jane McGonigal. Among the topics 
they will highlight include: gameful teaching and learning strategies, 
the course "Superstructure", and the heroic efforts on the part of their
 students to address real-world global social problems.
