Company Description:

Emagination Computer Camps operates summer technology programs for children
on college campuses near Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles and
Philadelphia. With a summertime staff of bright and motivated young adults
we pursue a mission to educate, entertain and help develop healthy kids.

 

Emagination's core Computer Camp program balances three technology courses
with fun summer camp activities in two-week sessions. Courses include video
game design, Flash, 3D animation, programming, robotics, radio control cars
and more. 

 

Emagination Game Design is a specialty summer program for teens sponsored by
Emagination Computer Camps, a leader in technology education since 1982. The
program introduces teenagers to the process of designing and developing
video games as practiced in the industry today. Students learn scripting and
level design as well as art asset, sound and music creation and inclusion.
They then join a development team and use a design document to build a
playable video game.

 

Job Description:

Qualified candidates are proficient in one or more of the following areas:
XNA, Unreal Development Kit, Roblox Studio, Game Maker, Dark Flow, Homebrew
Kit for the DS, Never Winter Nights Editor, FPS Game Design, Warcraft III
Editor, 3DSMax, Maya, Mud Box, Photoshop, Audacity.

 

Game Design Instructors teach classes Monday through Friday and spend
evenings and weekends when on duty delivering a traditional summer camp
experience to campers. Excellent opportunity for students and recent
graduates to reinforce technical and creative skills while having a fun
summer experience at one of our great campus locations near Atlanta, Boston,
Chicago, Los Angeles or Philadelphia.

 

Emagination's competitive compensation package includes a weekly salary plus
room and board

(worth over $350/week and includes weekend and off duty housing and meals!!)
We also provide

you transportation to and from the local airport at the beginning and end of
camp.
