[game_edu] Service learning ideas??

Hi folks:

I have a kind of weird problem going on here and would welcome some help with it. It turns out that my
UnrealEd class has a service learning component in the syllabus, left over from some earlier administrator. 
So now I need to find some project which will meet the (rather loose)
requirements of service learning, or we could all troop off to package food at Feed My Starving Children 
(http://www.fmsc.org/).

In the past I have had people work on projects for the STEM Game Design Challenge, but that doesn't start again until
next year. There was a Healthy Eating contest out of the White House a few years ago, but it seems to be gone now.

 Does anyone know of any other similar contest that's going on now?
