Hi Everyone,

Get ready for some good old summertime fun at the National Museum of Play at The Strong with two original exhibits produced by The Strong's International Center for the History of Electronic Games.

Boardwalk Arcade Opens at the National Museum of Play
July 6 through September 8

Step right up! Celebrate arcade amusements in all their beeping, blipping, vibrant glory at an original, new summertime exhibit opening at the National Museum of Play on Saturday, July 6. Step into a scene reminiscent of 19th and early 20th-century resorts such as Coney Island and Atlantic City. Guests will have an opportunity to play a multitude of boardwalk games; among them, historic video arcade machines specially selected from the collections of the International Center for the History of Electronic games such as Prop Cycle, S.T.U.N. Runner, Donkey Kong, Cruis'n USA and Warrior. Guests will also have a singular opportunity to play Fix-It Felix Jr. Custom-designed for the museum by Walt Disney Animation Studios, Fix-It Felix Jr is a faithfully rendered reproduction of the fictional video arcade machine seen in the popular animated Disney film Wreck It Ralph.
