[CIS-PAGID] disability for adults with immune deficiency

If I could pose a quick question, aimed at those who take care of adults
with immune deficiency (and primarily in the US), how do you handle the
question of putting them on disability, if it comes up?  I have never
put anyone on long term disability for immune deficiency - it never
seems to inhibit their ability to do their job, unless they keep getting
sick.  They may have to change their jobs to reduce exposure.  In my
mind though, it does not warrant disability in most cases.  However, the
question almost always seems to come up.
