Dear Colleagues,

I wanted to thank you for your thoughts and prayers during this time of challenge in Houston, Texas.
All of our faculty are well and accounted for although several have lost homes.

Texas Children’s Hospital, has remained dry and has been able to provide uninterrupted care through the storm to patients.
I do worry for the over 10,000 families that are now homeless - and we will certainly work to meet the needs of patients during this recovery.

We are all beyond grateful for the warmth and support that the primary immunodeficiency community has extended.
Many have volunteered to offer help of some kind and it is tremendously appreciated.
While we do not fully understand the impact of these floods at this time, knowing that we are part of a global community working together to advance the health of patients with deficient immunity is great solace.

More from us soon and we thank you for having us in your thoughts.
