[CIS PIDD] [cis-pidd] Help with TRECS

[CIS-PIDD]

Dear Fellows
In Quito we have now two patients with suspect of SCID:
The first one is  3 months old boy with sepsis and encephalitis positive for E coli. He have 3200 lymphocytes with 2035 of CD3; 1841 CD4+ and 184 CD8+, based on the CD8 low numbers we suspect on some defect on T cells, unfortunately we do not have more option for T cells evaluation. HIV negative
The second one is a 15 yo boy with history of pancreatitis, appendectomy,  salmonellosis, hydrocephalus, and sepsis positive for anaerobic bacteria. He have a 225 CD4+ and 201 CD8+ and 287 NK cells. HIV negative.


We want to rule out SCID/ leaky SCID, but unfortunately we do not perform TRECS, I was wondering if you know where we can do that at low cost (or free), or if it could be another  routine test we should perform to get a proper diagnosis?
