[sbe-eas] Comment on getting requests about EAS stuff

Good afternoon,
I wanted to chime in on this. Apparently, there is a community out there of people that are interested in EAS that record videos and have a hobby in this portion of broadcasting. There is a website that exists if you ever wanted to look into it more: https://globaleas.org<https://globaleas.org/>

We had a question submitted on our station website from a Christopher Downing cdowning371 at gmail.com<mailto:cdowning371 at gmail.com> asking if we have a schedule for weekly tests of the emergency alert system. Our IT manager traced them to Michigan and we are located in Arkansas. Our Manager says it smells fishy and is not inclined to send any information. Anyone else see strange requests like this?

Yes. We received the same request from Christopher Downing back on May 19th
and I agree, it does seem fishy.

YES we got one at The Public's Radio (WNPN Newport / Providence) as well.
Smelled fishy to me, too. I told our staff to ignore it and not reply.
