[SBE] unlicensed wireless Digital links

I just took a count, we have 7 ISP services using part 15 hardware on our
1006' tower and 4 on our 100' studio STL tower. Only 2 are still on 2.4 gig
because of interference. The Motorola stuff they use allows 3 users in the band at
the same site, provided there is enough vertical separation. The main problem
is front end overload from the other users transmitters. If you just want to
"play," you can take a DVcam or other firewire device into a PC, (laptop works
too) and then send it out the USB port to the radio, and take the output into
another computer USB port and send it to screen or other output as desired.
Its the same as a PCI Linksys G system but with a better antenna. I have one
such link from my kennel to the house, about 250 feet. It suffers from
interference from the ISP users and my computer wireless net, but supplies a "digitally
perfect" picture 85% and measles or blizzard the other 15 (very regular
cycle).
Hope this helps.
