did that. didn't help at all.  I keep a DOS/3.1 machine running, a 95, 98 and 
2000NT boxes running just so I don't have to buy new software everytime a new 
OS comes out. None of the older machines are on the Internet, so don't worry 
about automatic updates and virus etc.  Did give away some old Apple stuff. 

Anybody need Newscutter on 9800 Power mac?
