I suppose Glen is talking about the transmitter site. If so I wonder if it
affected anyone else there. The copper theft business is totally out of
control! The continuing thread on the SBE web site has been very
interesting.

The phone line stopped working last week at our site here in Kansas City. I
met with the phone guy on Saturday and he told me that someone stole 400
feet of a 500 pair cable right off the poles.

Maybe this is where we could have a real simple straw poll
as to what a "standard" color could be. Without convening a
committee government style, we could , using just the
Internet, ask the collective(s), making sure to include
people like Kevin Kidd, what the most practical color would
be. What could be most noticeable, last quite a while, be
reasonably resistant to UV, etc. We pick it right here, and
simply announce it. Ergo, a simple defacto standard that
could start being used nationwide.
