Due to damage by what PCSO deputies believe is a copper wire theft suspect at
the TECO power plant located on Moore Road in Mulberry (station 4039), the
city of Mulberry is without power at this time and will be without power for
several hours while TECO repairs the damage. PCSO deputies are investigating
this incident but do not know the identity of a suspect at this time.

The power outage affects all traffic lights in Mulberry and Mulberry PD
officers are in the intersections directiing traffic. In an instance where an
MPD officer is not directiing traffic, drivers are reminded to treat all
intersections as 4-way stops.
