[SBE] Copper Thefts

Did anyone at NAB see the HUGE coverage of copper theft in Las Vegas?  It
turns out that the mayor testified in one case against a guy that stole
copper from the city.  Every TV station and most of the news type radio
stations covered it.  One was even showing the video that busted the guy.
HEY!  We are in the media.  What about the station covering how it is no
longer profitable

Perhaps a brief discussion with your local government about the fact it is
to their advantage to be proactive about copper theft.  Dont most cities
have restriction on scrap dealers where they need to ID and photograph the
people bringing copper in?
