Well its a round sided rectangle, but for simple geometry purposes draw a
circle and an arc representing the sat arc a 22,500 miles above Earth. The four
corners are:
1 where you are.
2. the zenith point of the arc above you (same longitude but 22,500 miles
away).
3. where the sat is (longitude, 72 to 140 degrees for domsat).
4. where that longitude is on the earth (east or west of you)

So now you have the difference represented by a diagonal line from you to the
sat, and the angle is the difference between your zenith and the diagonal.
The difference between this angle and the actual look angle represents the arc
difference because the earth is round. Your square "look angle" is different
from the actual look angle because of the difference in longitude. You'll find
it roughly equal to the skew angle which is the compensation for round earth
(polar geometry) Vs flat earth (square geometry).
