Well, i set my mailboix up to filter any mail from this SBE mailing list to a seperate folder, and skim it when i can. Ive also become familiar with the posters and typically skip those that dont often have anything valuable to say.

Further, we have all been doing a good job of changing the subject line when the subject changes. I'm done reading about global warming, so I no longer read those mailings.

And its not a mandatory listserv. People can come and go as they please.

Henry and Adrienne have a good point
I think the list is good to socialize. Personally i work with techno-idiots, so its nice too have techo interaction.

Just my $0.02.

Jonathan
Keep it up.

Aye--it's nice to have a place where the adults can sit and talk.

Chris, it's your list, if you don't like SBE members interacting in social
conversation, turn it off and we'lll start one that everyone who just wants
to
be social can use. Personally it should be the members that use the list
that
determine the content. And I THNK THEY HAVE BEEN DOING A VERY GOOD JOB OF
IT.
We could call our new list SBE Social Chat and Discussions. Any content
welcome. All in favor?
