[SBE] IT Strategies Committee

Hello fellow SBE Members!

I have been asked by SBE President Barry Thomas to continue as the IT  
Strategies committee chair for the Society.

In addition to maintaining the SBE remailers and assisting SBE HQ with  
IT help, I am also responsible for helping the Society, the local  
chapters, and members with shaping their IT goals, and provide  
assistance with things like websites, email, and other technology  
initiatives.

I have some great ideas moving forward, but would like to see some  
other like-minded individuals to join me on the IT Strategies  
committee.  One of the things I'd like to work on is a how-to manual  
for chapters (and even members who may be contractors) to assist in  
setting up a web presence, including email.  I'd also like to come up  
with resources for chapters to things such as set up local forums and  
polls, and the like.

The only pre-requisite to be a committee member is to be an SBE member  
in good standing with a desire to serve the Society.
