Whoia there buckaroo. The Push for DTV revenue was very much a Clinton/Gore idea. They very nicely made the requirements for it occur during the Bush admin. The dates and the money however were decided mostly by Gore. A relative of mine was there for the whole debate, including Gore's first push, which was to tax receivers.

You can blame lots of things perhaps on Bush, but this fiasco was purely made by liberals and Democrats.
