Line leaks can be determined by the compressor on/off cycle time.  If its 
buzzing frequently there is a leak.  I document the line pressure from the moment 
the compressor shuts off until it starts again, and clock the rate of 
pressure fall on the high side of the regulator. That also helps check the condition 
of the compressor for back leaks past pistons or valves.
