[SBE] Fwd: NAB FM chip proposal

Short post but needs to be said.

I brought this issue to the member discussion list to find out what  
member sentiment on the issue was as soon as I had enough information  
on it. SBE has been rightly faulted by its members in the past for  
pursuing issues that members disagreed with when the pursuit became  
public. So, as far as I am concerned, the list elicited information  
valuable to the Board, the EAS Committee, and the GRC.
