Yeah, and the TSA really finds terrorists.  CDC needs to justify its budget 
and with no major public  health issues lately has to grab onto any straw.  
Well maybe the sales of sanitizers will help P&G or whomever makes it. I 
read where masks are the top 3 Amazon sellers. We'll all feel so good later. 
Good ol bleach or alcohol works better.  Ah the fresh small of Clorox in the 
morning, wafting with the smell of fresh coffee and pastries. Certainly anti 
going green. 

costs:  increased land fill from 100 million empty bottles of sanitizers
increased soot from burning 1 billion paper based masks  (3 per person)
8 hand washes per day @ 1 quart is 600 million gallons of added waste 
water, and what better place to grow microbial and viral "germs than stagnent 
warm water
Chemical waste from making the masks, bottles. 
Transport costs of 4 millions tons 
200 million hours of lost productivity time spent in planning meetings
at least 10,000 hours of air time spent on the flu story anecdotes
adnauseum

As I recall most traditional victims are infants, elderly and those with 
compromised immune systems and those who don't seek prompt medical care. So if 
you are an average healthy adult, stay away from the susceptable.
