I could do an updated AmEx spot for the DecTek (Sencore OEM's) DTU, "I
never leave home without it" while it is not cheap it does a great job -
you might want to take a look at their site as most of the Sencore cost is
the software they bundle with the the unit, also they have lots of other
software tools that Sencore does not offer

the Happaugue 8VSB USB dongle is useful but as a consumer device, I've
been using one for almost two years and have experienced no failures or
freezes but my typical run time is only a few hours with occasional 24
hour logging

there was a post card advert that arrived just prior to NAB about a $599
device that I may have tossed (streampro?) that was 8VSB to USB with some
software but have no experience with it
